Show Notes
Not only does the food we eat dictate how our body functions, it also impacts how we feel. In this episode of the Nourished Wrap, Katie and Jess discuss this important connection between mental well-being and nutrition. They discuss what actually is mental health, why food is such a significant part of the picture, the underlying causes to 'chemical imbalances', how the brain and nervous system works, neurotransmitters and the importance of them as well as breaking down complex terms into easy to understand words. Katie & Jess are very passionate about this topic as they believe wholeheartedly that nutrition has so much to offer for people labeled with things like anxiety or depression, as you will learn when you listen there is more options than just going on medication.
